The vehicle ferry leaves from Ross Street, South Townsville and arrives at Nelly Bay. Vehicle bookings are essential and the operator asks travellers to arrive before departure for loading.
FROM THE FERRY TERMINAL
Take the Route 250 bus.
At Nelly Bay, use Magnetic Island Ferry Terminal Stop 2 and board Route 250 towards Horseshoe Bay. Tell the driver you are going to Bounce Magnetic Island at 40 Horseshoe Bay Road.
